Sourcing that respects the land it comes from.
Cardinal Oils works only with producers whose practices align with responsible cultivation, ecosystem stewardship, and long-term partnership.
Six commitments we hold ourselves to.
Traceability to the origin farm
Every lot of Cardinal Oils product can be traced back to the producer, region, and processing facility of origin. Documentation is available on request for every shipment.
Responsible sourcing
We work only with producers who commit — in practice, not just on paper — to responsible land management, worker welfare, and legal compliance.
No deforestation
Cardinal Oils will not source from producers linked to illegal deforestation or land conversion in protected biomes.
Water stewardship
Our producer partners are selected in part on their water management practices — including watershed protection, irrigation efficiency, and effluent handling.
Long-term producer partnerships
We do not chase spot prices. We build multi-year relationships with a defined group of producers, which lets us hold consistent quality standards and share the cost of improvement over time.
Transparent reporting
Where third-party certifications exist for our practices, we obtain them. Where they don't, we publish our own standards and welcome audit.
Six documented stages from origin to your dock.
- 01
Origin
Cardinal Oils sources exclusively from selected producer partners across Paraguay. Each partner is on-boarded with a documented farm profile, land use record, and cultivation practice audit.
- 02
Processing
Extraction happens at partner processing facilities using cold press or mechanical extraction, depending on the oil. Every processing run is logged with lot ID, extraction date, and yield.
- 03
Quality control
Every lot is analyzed for fatty acid profile, moisture, acidity, and contaminant screening. A certificate of analysis is generated per lot and accompanies every shipment.
- 04
Storage
Product is stored in controlled-condition tanks with lot segregation preserved. Temperature, humidity, and residence time are logged and available for audit.
- 05
Export logistics
Shipments are prepared with full export documentation: certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, certificate of analysis, MSDS, data sheet, and packing list. Incoterms confirmed per contract.
- 06
Client delivery
Your receiving dock is the final stage of our chain of custody. On request, we provide the full documentation trail from origin farm to your facility for any lot.
